Body Color: Slate can only be seen well in blue based budgies. They have an even non-diluted shade of dull slate body color (body color will vary with each budgie depending on any dark or color adding factors) on their chest, breast and rump where it will be the darkest.
Head, Throat Spot And Wing Markings: This is the normal pattern of a wild budgie. Their wing and head barring will be black with a yellow or white (edging depending on the body color) with solid black throat spots. Cheek Patches: Deep violet Main Tail Feathers: Deep blue. |
Feet And Leg Color: Pink/grey
Eye color and iris at maturity: Black eyes with white iris. Mature Adult Cere Color: Medium to deep blue in males, and tan to light blue/white in females depending on if they are in breeding condition. |
