Body Color: Slate can only be seen well in blue based budgies. They have an even non-diluted shade of dull slate body color (body color will vary with each budgie depending on any dark or color adding factors) on their chest, breast and rump where it will be the darkest.
Head, Throat Spot And Wing Markings: This is the normal pattern of a wild budgie. Their wing and head barring will be black with a yellow or white (edging depending on the body color) with solid black throat spots.
